Ten bungalows with either private or shared bathrooms are available, the bathrooms featuring stone and shell tile work. Each bungalow has its own terrace and hammock. There are designated camping areas in the sand nearby, as well. Common areas include a common room in the central building and thatched palm shelters by the seashore. Guests can also take advantage of the hostel's book exchange, yoga classes, Internet facilities, parking, laundry service and great tour offerings.
Area
The hostel is located on the beaches of Zorritos in Peru's Tumbes department. Nearby attractions include Zorritos' natural Jacuzzi (perfect for a romantic outing under the stars) and the medicinal mud baths of Hervidores.
Food & Beverage
The hostel's La Papaya Restaurant serves up creative and healthy cuisine rich in seafood, Spanish flavors and vegetarian options like muesli, juices and salads. Breakfast through dinner are available here and there's also a bar on site.
How To Get There
To get to the hostel from the town of Tumbes, head south along the Pan-American Highway to the 1235 km mark. You'll see a sign for the hostel and a mosaicked gateway leading to it.
