Hotel Description
The sumptuous Republican-era accommodations of the Casona San Jerónimo are adorned with impressive artwork and adjoined by exuberant flowery gardens. Built in 1890, the stately mansion it occupies underwent a thorough restoration to preserve its historic character with the use of natural stone, wood and adobe. Even some of the home's original period furniture was restored to create an atmosphere of authenticity and beauty. Peace, comfort and excellent service can be found at every turn here, where the luxurious guest rooms feature exquisite details such as hand-plastered walls, woven rugs and fine works of art. Some of the guest rooms are situated within the original mansion while others are housed within a newer structure overlooking the formal gardens where lush beds of delicate roses and prickly cacti frame stone fountains and green lawns.

The hotel is located in Cuzco's San Jerónimo neighborhood seven miles southeast of the Plaza de Armas. The Mercado Vinocanchón is nearby and the city's premier tourist destinations and airport are a brief taxi ride away.

How To Get There
To get to the hotel from central Cuzco head southeast along the Avenida De La Cultura (later called Prolongación De La Cultura) to the district of San Jerónimo. After passing the Velasco Astete and La Inmaculada schools on your right you will arrive at the hotel on your left immediately after crossing the intersection with Pasaje Del Sol.
