Excellent Customer Service
Punoypampa hotel may not be a five stars hotel..., but it compensates with wonderful people like Shirley, Valentin and Marcos. These people will go the extra mile to make you feel at home. The hotel is nice, beautiful and very clean and it is in the city center, about 50 meters from the main square and walking distance to everything Puno has to offer. Go check it out, you won't be disappointed.

3 star hotel, 5 Star service! Excellent!
The hotel, although not luxurious, is VERY nice and comfortable. Well worth the rate. Our room had an oversized jacuzzi tub, a TV with cable, mini fridge, and a very comfortable bed. Each floor has a mini-tea bar so mate de coca was available all the time, day or night.

The service was the difference. It was AMAZING. Everyone at the hotel was super nice, and they took care of everything we needed. Laundry, taxi requests, information requests, directions, everything was handled promptly and with a smile. We requested oxygen about 3 times, and it was sent to our room right away. We wanted mate de coca with real coca leaves (not the filter bags) and it was sent to our room right away. They hooked us up with a great taxi driver that drove us around whenever we were to beat to walk. He was laid back and the price was fair.

The breakfast bar was also amazing: fresh squeezed papaya, pineapple, and orange juice, different types of bread, ham, and cheese, yogurts, cereals, and eggs made to order.

This was really an excellent experience. And the price was just right. I hope it's featured in the next edition of the Peru Lonely Planet edition. They deserve all the business they can get.

Thanks to the staff! They were amazing.

Really great hotel
The people at the front desk were extremely attentive and polite. The beds were comfortable and we were provided with plenty of blankets to keep us toasty, although a heater is also available in every room. The bathrooms were very clean. Hot water 24/7. The only reason why I'm not giving them a 10 is because the lady that worked the morning shift at the front desk didn't speak much English, which would have been nice since my husband only speaks a little Spanish.

great place to stay
we loved this place. Great location. Service was wonderful and so helpful. Breakfast was very good and try mixing the juices together
Be prepared for the altitude or the 3rd floor will be a struggle.
highly recommended and I give it an 8 because I do not give 10's and 9 is fantastic.
But a 10 for a 3 star hotel
