Area
Pachacamac (whose name means Lord of Earthquakes) is an archaeological citadel with strong sacred character, this place has both original pre-Inca and Inca structures, and is an excellent example of architectural style from the days before the Spanish conquest. This place surrounded by avenues, squares, shrines, temples is recognized as the last vast archaeological site of Lima. The ruins and temples were built in different periods, ranging from 200 years AD until the XVI century.
