Hotel Description

Samanapaq, meaning a place for rest in Quechua, truly lives up to its name in the picturesque village of Ollantaytambo. Here, the owners are so welcoming and accommodating, the gardens are so beautiful and the facilities are so comfortable and homey that you'll inevitably end up staying longer than planned.

The property is a perfect refuge for large groups and the ideal romantic getaway for couples looking to escape the noise and commotion of Cuzco and Aguas Calientes.

There is even a pottery workshop on site where guests can observe skilled artisans at work and make their own decorative or utilitarian ceramics with Inca and pre-Inca designs. Guests are also welcome to relax in front of the fireplace in the common room, watch DVDs, play games, and enjoy their breakfast in the inviting dining area.

Guests can expect a superior level of service from the attentive owners, who provide travel services, tourist information, transportation to and from Cuzco, laundry service and more. Parking is available on site for up to four small cars.

Fabulous Hotel, Super Fabulous Hosts & Super Perfect Service
What a blessing it is to know that you can still find snatches of paradise - when you least expect it!
Ollyantatambo is a mystical, magical place that comes with the powerful yet harsh environment of a high desert land. At Samanapaq, however - you will find both the beauty and magic of a sparkling clean, warm and inviting rooms set in the midst of lush gardens, surrounded by the views of high mountains. As if that were not enough you will find yourself immersed in the blissful hospitality of James and Manueala the owners.
Charming, gracious and very loving. Their staff are exceptionally well mannered and helpful.
We left a hat behind and these amazing people couriered it to us - 100 miles away at their expense.!! Forgot our camera in a cab we took from the hotel. They sent it to us - 400 miles away.
What can you say for service like that? One line- We will be back - and with more guests!
Thank you both and Pacarama for making this a unforgettable trip.
