Hotel Description
The modern architecture and cozy interiors of the Hatun Wasi Hostel infuse the place with a homey feel that's conducive to getting some R&R before or after a trek through the mountains. There is a spacious rooftop terrace with spectacular views of the White and Black mountain ranges where guests can take a nap in a hammock or enjoy a drink. The living room is another comfy place to rest on the sofas and watch a movie or read the newspaper. Guests also have access to a kitchen and computers connected to the Internet.
The guest rooms come in singles, doubles, twins, triples, quads and shared dorms, each one equipped with a TV and wireless Internet (available throughout the hostel). Bilingual (English and Spanish-speaking) staff are on hand to help with safety deposit, luggage storage, laundry service, transfers from the bus station and tourist information, including information about excursions throughout the Cordillera Blanca and surrounding area.

The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood of the city of Huaraz, 15 minutes from the Plaza de Armas.
Food & Beverage
The hotel offers guests a variety of complimentary breakfast choices, including continental, American-style (scrambled eggs and ham), Hatun Wasi-style (a toasted ham and cheese sandwich), vegetarian (fruit salad and granola) or English (eggs, bacon and sausages). Each breakfast type comes with bread, jam, fresh orange juice and coffee or tea. Guests are welcome to prepare their own lunches and dinners in the hotel's kitchen and there's a mini market on site where guests will find essential food items and more.
How To Get There
To get to the hotel from Huaraz's Plaza de Armas, head north along Luzuriaga Ave., which later becomes Fitzcarrald Ave. Cross the river and follow Centenario Ave. for three more blocks, taking a right onto Daniel Villayzan St. 1.5 blocks later you'll come to the hotel on your right.
