Excellent experience!
I was completely satisfied with our stay. The hotel had the atmosphere of a friendly family run hotel although it was a bit larger than the traditional family managed hotel. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would book there again should we ever return to Ica.

Helpful staff, poor breakfast, budget hotel.
We only spent one night in this hotel as it was a stop on the way to see the Nasca lines. First impressions of the hotel didn't bode well as the walls near the lounge area just off of reception were shedding plaster and were in need of repair. We then noticed that there was building work taking place behind the hotel (we believe it to have been another annex of the hotel).

When we got to our room it looked clean and had everything we needed but unfortunately the door would not lock properly. We informed reception and they switched us to an alternate room. This room was fine and we had no complaints. The bed was comfortable, the room and bathroom were clean.

The most disappointing part of the stay was the breakfast. There should have been coffee, bread, juice and eggs cooked to preference. However, the juice, coffee and bread had all gone when we arrived (about 9am) and we had to ask for more to be brought out. We also ordered scrambled eggs which were very greasy indeed.

The staff were very helpful even though they were busy the whole time we were there. For the price I think it's certainly worth staying at this hotel, but if you want luxury and a good breakfast and don't mind paying 2-3 times the price you may prefer to book elsewhere.
