Inkaterra La Casona Cusco Hotel
Hotel Description
As rich in history as it is in luxury, the Inkaterra La Casona Cusco Hotel is an exquisite blend of Spanish and Inca influences. In fact, the colonial mansion it occupies is Cuzco's oldest and the exclusive boutique hotel facilities that now pamper guests here serve as a benchmark of excellence for other hotels in the city. Stepping into the hotel's main lounge you'll encounter Inca stone walls, a carved stone fireplace and antique period furniture that give one the unique impression of traveling back in time and entering one's own home at the same time.
The hotel has eleven lavish suites, designed in a tasteful colonial Baroque style without overlooking the mansion's Inca origins. Four of the suites overlook the hotel's spectacular inner patio, two enjoy views of the Plaza Nazarenas and the remaining five contain balconies with lovely views. Each suite features a private marble bathroom with two sinks, a bathtub, shower and deluxe towels. Standard in-room amenities include heated floors, wireless Internet, flat-screen satellite TVs with DVD players, mini-bars, safety deposit boxes and wireless telephones.
The hotel staff provide unparalleled concierge, chauffeur and butler service and are always ready to fulfill guests' every need, be it pick-up from the airport, transportation around Cuzco, the organization of excursions and picnics, or recommendations for gastronomical expeditions. At an additional cost the hotel offers laundry service, visits to habitat conservation programs, personal guides, interpretation services, babysitting, spa services, medical attention, ceramics classes, Pachamama ceremonies and more.
