The Hotel Rojas, conveniently located just one block from Cuzco's Plaza de Armas, is a comfortable hotel with an authentic colonial atmosphere and friendly, obliging staff. It occupies an 18th-century mansion once home to the Marquis of La Plata and, subsequently, the Santa Teresa de Jesús monastery, and was carefully restored to preserve the historic charm of its original stone archways and courtyard. There are 20 carpeted guest rooms in all, each one with a private bathroom, free Wi-Fi and heating. Guests can relax in the formal courtyard lounge and enjoy a satisfying breakfast in the dining area adorned with hand-painted murals. A comprehensive range of services and amenities are available through the professional staff including tourist information, tours, bicycle and car rentals, oxygen (to combat altitude sickness), laundry service, currency exchange and hair dryers.
Area
The hotel is located in central Cuzco just one block from the Plaza de Armas and two blocks from the popular El Sol Ave. The Cristo Blanco statue and scenic overlook of San Cristóbal are seven blocks away and the ruins of Sacsayhuamán can be reached in three minutes by car. The area surrounding the hotel is full of tour agencies, cafés, restaurants, bars, cultural centers, art galleries, boutiques and parks.

How To Get There
To get to the hotel from Cuzco's Plaza de Armas, head northwest along Plateros St. and take your first right onto Tigre St. A few steps later you'll arrive at the hotel on your left.
