Clean and cozy
We arrived cold and wet after 4 days on the Inca Trail and were greeting with a friendly smile and nice, clean and cozy accomodations. We had all of our needs met and were able to relax and recuperate before heading back to Cusco.
Breakfast was included in our stay along with afternoon tea/coffee and fruit. Despite construction going on nearby, we had a peaceful stay and were not bothered at all. The staff at the hotel were friendly and patient with us as our Spanish is not that great! I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Great hotel for the money (in comparison to others in Aguas Calientes)
My son and I travelled to Peru and stayed in Lima for a few days prior to going to Cusco and then on to Aguas Calientes. Of all the hotels we stayed in, this was the best. Yes, it was slightly more expensive than the others, but considering the location and room, it was well worth it. Great service, great breakfast, and the room was clean and extremely convenient to restaurants and nearby activities. I have three other sons I'll be taking one-by-one to Machu Picchu when they get a little older and plan on staying in this hotel each time I go.

Great hotel near Machu Picchu
My husband, son and I stayed at the La Cabana Machu Picchu in June 2012. The room was very comfortable. The service staff were extremely friendly and spoke good English.

Beautiful place in Aguas Calientes
Great service, friendly staff, large and clean rooms. Would most definitely recommend to anyone staying in Aguas Calientes for the night.

Recommendable on all aspects
Good value for the money. It is quiet, clean, confortable, safe and well situated. They offer a good breakfast (included in the price). The staff is very pleasant and goes beyond the call of duty to help in everyway they can- pick-up at the train station, comfortable rooms, helping with a problem, and recommending great restaurants we would not have found otherwise!
They also have a computer with internet available for their guests which we found very convenient.

Great Value!
My wife and I visited back in April, and we were very pleased with this hotel. We were initially looking at the two more expensive options in town, but for prices of $400 - $700 a night decided to try something else. I stumbled upon this hotel and booked the suite for a quarter the price of the other two! While maybe not as upscale, this hotel worked out great. It was clean, the staff very friendly - even contacting me ahead of time to arrange a meeting at the train for escort back to the hotel. The only downside might be that the hotel is located up the hill in town, but we actually found the experience of getting to and from the hotel gave us a great flavor of the town. If you want to save bunches of money and have a good place to stay, this is the place.

Wonderful place to stay
We stayed 2 nights here after hiking to Machu Picchu. The beds were extremely comfortable. They offered a wonderful buffet breakfast. The staff was helpful and informative. It was a great location close to many good eateries, shops, and the hot springs. A negative for some may be the steep climb up the walkway but you get used to it.

Excellent hotel, very clean, great service
La Cabana in Aguascalientes is a wonderful hotel, superb service, wonderful staff to help with everything you need. This hotel is very clean and located next to all the shops and restaurants. A big thank you to Carina, Diego and Nayder at the reception. Volveremos !!!! PS The hot springs are just a seven minute walk up the hill, worth going to for fun.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. There was a bowl of fruit and water bottles too. My room had a decent view of the mountains. The location is also convenient, it's right on the principle street about 1/2 way through town. The water pressure was good and they have hot water but it can be sporadic at times. The shower can go from scolding hot to cold and back to hot again in a matter of minutes.

A diamond in the rough
We were miserable after hiking four days to Machu Pichu and this hotel offered clean and beautiful rooms, hot water and room service. The food was fantastic, and they cleaned our clothes. The Spaghetti Bolognese was great and so was the flan.

A friendly place
We arrived in Machu Picchu for a one night stay. We were met by hotel staff who ushered us around to get our bus and park passes for the next day and who also showed us around town before taking us to the hotel. The room was clean and pleasant and everyone was smiling and helpful. They made suggestions for places to eat, were are willing to make box lunches for our excursion and had tea, coffee and fruit in the lobby for us to enjoy. We decide to eat dinner at the hotel. It was very good.
Breakfast was provided at 5 AM to allow us to make the 5:30 bus. The staff kept our bags for us until late the next afternoon when we returned from the ruins and offered us refreshments while we waited for the train back to Cusco.
