The Hacienda Abraspungo occupies a country estate, or hacienda, in the heart of the Ecuadorian Andes. The elegant furnishings and decoration complement the main building of stone and white plaster, and guest rooms are distributed around a Spanish gallery that opens onto gardens and a courtyard.
This atmospheric retreat provides the backdrop for modern conveniences and service—rooms have flat-screen TVs with cable channels, wireless Internet, and well appointed private bathrooms. Rooms range in size from singles and doubles to triples and suites, and some have balconies. All have views of the hacienda gardens and surrounding mountains.
Property amenities include a business center, massage services, game room, basketball court, and bike rental for visitors who wish to explore the national parks and picturesque mountains surrounding the property. Polo classes and mountaineering training can also be organized by the hotel. Custom tours and airport transfers are available on request.

Food & Beverage
The on-site restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and focuses on Andean cuisine using local ingredients cultivated using traditional methods. The restaurant is an inviting place, with musical instruments adorning the walls and a fireplace used to warm guests on cold mountain nights. The restaurant and its bar offer a full selection of wines and spirits, and can pack lunches and provide room service upon request.
How To Get There
Coming from Quito on E-35 (the Panamerican Highway), go into Riobamba and follow signs to La Prensa Avenue, which turns into Jose de Sucre Avenue. Continue along this road for a mile, and the hacienda will be well sign-posted on your left-hand side.
