Hotel Description
The Atacama Hostel is a fun and relaxing place to stay in one of Santiago's trendiest and safest neighborhoods. Occupying a traditional house outfitted with all of the amenities a traveler could ask for, it features a second-floor terrace, a BBQ area, a fully-equipped kitchen, a cable TV lounge, Wi-Fi, computers connected to the Internet and games like ping-pong, taca-taca and foosball. Guests are provided with personal lockers for the safekeeping of their belongings and a full range of services is available, including bike rental.

The hostel is located in the Providencia district of Santiago, known for being one of the city's safest, most fashionable and handsomest neighborhoods. It's steps from the metro and other public transportation, 30 minutes from the airport and near various restaurants, cafés and bars. Providencia Ave. is just a few hundred feet away and there are great places to shop in the vicinity.
Food & Beverage
A complimentary breakfast is served each morning from 8 to 10:30 am and guests are offered a free beer or pisco sour at the hostel's bar. Room service is available and nearby there are many bars, restaurants and cafés.
How To Get There
To get to the hotel from Balmaceda Park head northeast along Providencia Ave. and take a right onto Román Díaz St. after crossing the intersection with Huelen St. Follow Román Díaz for a few hundred feet and you'll arrive at the hotel on your left.
